The ground rules for using TrailRig. Plain-language, no surprises.
TrailRig ("the app") is an independent iOS application developed and operated by a solo developer based in Prague, Czech Republic ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using TrailRig, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
TrailRig helps mountain, road, and gravel cyclists track bike components, log service history, search for spare parts, and follow race events. The app is free to download. Optional Pro features are available as a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple.
Your data is stored on your device (and, with Pro's iCloud Sync, in your personal iCloud account). You are responsible for your own backups. We do not store your personal data on servers and cannot recover data you lose. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Search Parts displays products from third-party retailers, which may include affiliate links. If you purchase through such a link, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Prices, availability, and product details are provided by retailers and may change; we don't guarantee their accuracy. Any purchase is a transaction directly between you and that retailer under their own terms. We are not a party to those transactions.
TrailRig Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase handled entirely by Apple and tied to your Apple ID. It supports Family Sharing with up to five family members. Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's policies. We do not process or access your payment information.
You agree to use TrailRig only for lawful, personal purposes, and not to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or its backend services, or use them in violation of applicable law.
The TrailRig name, logo, app, and website are the property of the developer. Product names, brands, and trademarks in search results belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. TrailRig is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. or any component manufacturer or retailer.
TrailRig is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Component tracking, service reminders, weight figures, and price data are provided for convenience only and are not a substitute for professional inspection or maintenance of your bicycle. Always follow manufacturer guidance and consult a qualified mechanic where appropriate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including data loss, missed service intervals, purchasing decisions, or the accuracy of third-party product information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published here. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and applicable European Union regulations.
